ACFEF Disaster Relief Fund

American Culinary Federation Please know that in the wake of the recent devastating storm, the American Culinary Federation (ACF) is here to support those members affected. We care about you and want to help as you as deal with the difficult task of getting your lives back together. The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF) Disaster Relief Task Force is already coordinating aid.

If you, or any ACF member you are aware of, need assistance due to this disaster, complete the ACFEF Disaster Relief Fund ACF Member Assistance Request form and return it to ACFEF Disaster Relief Task Force Fund, American Culinary Federation, 180 Center Place Way, St. Augustine, FL 32095. 2016 ACF Culinary Team USA Managers

Joseph Leonardi, CEC, was named ACF Culinary Team USA manager, and J. Kevin Walker, CMC, AAC, was named ACF Culinary Youth Team USA manager. Leonardi and Walker were selected from a group of qualified candidates after an extensive interview process. Leonardi will oversee the ACF Culinary Team USA program, as well as directly manage ACF Culinary National Team USA, while Walker will manage the youth team, ACF Culinary Youth Team USA.

ACF Culinary Team USA Has Stellar IKA Performance

Congratulations to ACF Culinary Team USA and ACF members and regional teams on their stellar performance at the 23rd annual Internationale Kochkunst Ausstellung (IKA) International Culinary Exhibition, commonly known as the “culinary Olympics.” They proudly represented American cuisine and ACF.

Three varieties of Plugrá European-Style Butter—salted, unsalted and clarified–were endorsed and received ACF’s Seal of Approval after passing extensive tests with distinction, which they also passed in 2009.

A new logo is kicking off the 2013 Baron H. Galand Culinary Knowledge Bowl competition in anticipation of another 20 years. Applications must be postmarked by Dec. 31.
