The honor society of ACF, the American Academy of Chefs (AAC) represents the highest standards of professionalism in the organization, society and industry. The Academy’s primary mission is to promote the education of all culinarians by mentoring culinarians, awarding scholarships to students seeking a future in the culinary industry, and by providing grants to professional working chefs looking to further their career.

The American Academy of Chefs 42nd Annual Induction Reception and Dinner will be held at the Nolita Ballroom located in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas during the 2013 ACF National Convention in Las Vegas, Tuesday, July 23, 2013, from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The cost is $150 per person; reservations with payment are required. Black tie required; medals required for AAC members.

Sharing Culinary Traditions - Mentorship Program
The mission of the ACF mentorship program is to provide student culinarians the opportunity to communicate and collaborate with professional chefs in our organization who are willing to share their knowledge, life experiences and advice to assist these young culinarians on their path to a successful career. Scholarships and Grants
The Academy offers educational scholarships to high school students, college students, and professional chefs looking to further their education. The Academy also offers grants to student teams competing at the ACF regional conferences and national convention.
