ACFEF Chef & Child Foundation
“To educate children and families in understanding proper nutrition through community-based initiatives led by the American Culinary Federation chef members, and to be the voice of the culinary industry in its fight against childhood hunger, malnutrition and obesity.”
Childhood Nutrition Day
Childhood Nutrition Day 2013 was a huge success with over 60 chefs and chapters hosting events in their communities to educate families and children about childhood hunger, proper nutrition and obesity issues. Vitamix® joined the movement and provided blenders to chefs to encourage participation.
On behalf of Chef & Child Foundation, thank you to all the chefs and chapters for participating in Childhood Nutrition Day. Special thank you to Vitamix, as well as local partners and sponsors, for their support in making these events a success. View Success Stories
