It is projected that the global population will reach 9 billion by the year 2050. Today nearly 1 billion humans suffer from hunger or malnutrition. Millions of them die each year of starvation or illness. Agricultural productivity has stagnated; three quarters of the world's fish stocks are in distress or nearing collapse… How can chef's play a role in feeding the world?
