The Christopher Ranch Story
Christopher Ranch is the largest garlic grower in the United States. The signature product, Christopher Ranch Heirloom Garlic, has the distinction of being the only commercially grown heirloom garlic in the U.S.! The process started years ago when Don Christopher’s family began farming in the 1890s. He created his own ranch specializing in garlic in 1956. Over time he perfected the tasted and built a loyal following. Don co-founded the Gilroy Garlic Festival, an annual event that has transformed Gilroy into the “Garlic Capital of the World.” Don’s son, Bill, now runs the ranch, with complete commitment and dedication to bringing you the finest garlic.
