ACF President John Kinsella
John Kinsella, CMC, CCE, AAC, is a distinguished leader, published author and an internationally recognized culinary figure, educator and businessman. Kinsella is one of only 61 American Culinary Federation, Inc. (ACF) certified master chefs (CMC) in the country, a master chef of the London Institute of City and Guilds, as well as an ACF-certified culinary educator (CCE) and a member of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), the honor society of the American Culinary Federation. He is a graduate of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Cincinnati, and in May 2007, he received an honorary doctor of culinary arts degree from Johnson & Wales University, Miami.
Kinsella's career, spanning more than 50 years, is dedicated to elevating the fields of culinary arts and education, along with his relentless drive to develop young talent. He is currently a senior chef-instructor at Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Cincinnati, and serves as president of the ACF, the premier professional organization for culinarians in America. He has been a member of ACF since 1975, and in 2005, he was elected as the federation's president for a four-year term.
