Train-the-Trainer
The Train-the-Trainer program is for all ACF Certified Executive Chefs (CEC), Executive Pastry Chefs (CEPC), and Culinary Educators (CCE) who are members in good standing and would like to become more involved in the practical exam experience.
The program doesn't stop there! Anyone interested in learning more about becoming certified or needs more information about certification is encouraged to attend.
These 2-day events satisfy most of the preliminary requirements on
becoming an approved practical exam evaluator, explain the processes
needed to become a certified chef, and offer practical exams to anyone
who needs it.
If you are interested in taking the practical exam, please contact
Aimee Karaitis, Assistant Director of Certification, at the National Office. Attendance is free for applying evaluators.
Anyone interested in taking the practical exam must send payment
to the National Office prior to the exam. The cost is $50.00 for
ACF members and $100.00 for non-members. (Note: There may be an additional
fee at the test center. Please contact the Test Coordinator for more
information.)
