ACF Initial Certification Information
The Initial Certification process is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Step 1
Determine your designation
and download
the application.
Step 2
Fill out the application and include the
necessary documentation required for your particular level:
- Educational documents may be copies of diplomas, transcripts,
certificates of completion (including date and hours), etc.
- Experience documentation may be letters from past or present
employers (on company letterhead), pay stubs, tax information, letters
from business attorneys or Certified Public Accountants (CPA), etc.
- Certificates of completion for 30-hour courses in:
- Food Safety and Sanitation
- Nutrition
- Culinary Supervisory Management
You can take these required courses at any of the following locations:

Take the exams:
You are now ready to send in your application. Make sure everything
is attached, no originals (copies only), and your payment information is
included.
