Voting Eligibility for Property Members for ACF Board of Directors Election

Property members must belong to an ACF local chapter or the ACF National Chapter to be eligible to vote in the national election in accordance with ACF bylaws. If you are a property member and have questions about your eligibility, please contact the ACF Membership Department at (800) 624-9458.

The Board of Directors oversees the direction of ACF and its subsidiaries by working with the national office staff and ACF chapters to ensure the organization’s growth. Get to know your 2009 nominees. The new Board of Directors will be installed at the 2009 ACF National Convention in Orlando, Fla., July 11–14.


New Scholarship Funds Available


The American Academy of Chefs, the honor society of the American Culinary Federation, is proud to offer a new scholarship for college students. Through a generous donation from The Charlie Trotter Culinary Education Foundation, eight $5,000 scholarships are now available. Applications are due by May 1 and can obtained by calling the ACF Education Department at (800) 624-9458.

Certified Master Chef Exam Assessment


The American Culinary Federation Certification Commission is hosting a certified master chef (CMC) exam assessment session for approved CMC exam candidates interested in practicing and evaluating their skills in preparation for the next CMC exam. The session takes place May 31–June 2 at Midwest Culinary Institute, Cincinnati.

Candidates interested in attending should send a letter of intent along with the registration fee of $600 to the ACF Certification Department at 180 Center Place Way, St. Augustine, FL 32095. If you have any questions, please contact educate@acfchefs.net, or call (800) 624-9458.
