Childhood Nutrition Day around the U.S.
The Chef & Child Foundation’s Childhood Nutrition Day was a huge success with more than 60 chefs and chapters hosting events in their communities to educate families and children about childhood hunger, proper nutrition and obesity issues in the month of October. Vitamix® joined the movement and provided blenders to chefs to encourage participation. Thank you to all the ACF chapters and chefs for participating, and a special thank you to Vitamix and the community partners and sponsors for their support in making these events a success. Read all the events and view the photos.
While Childhood Nutrition Day is celebrated during the month of October, the Chef & Child Foundation urges you to continue to promote proper nutrition and healthy choices in school-age children throughout the year. Implement one of the Chef & Child Foundation’s programs and/or activities to increase awareness and make a difference in your community.
