Dine With An ACF Certified Chef

St. Augustine, Fla., March 4, 2002—It’s Live.

The Dine With An ACF Certified Chef online database is up and running! This exciting new benefit for certified chefs who are CCC or above has received a tremendous response. Nearly 200 text listings are online.

This guide helps the dining public to find your restaurant. Accessing the database is simple; just go to and click on the Dining Guide button. Then simply choose the state, and restaurants with ACF-certified chefs appear in alphabetical order by city.

Ever wish your restaurant had a Web page? This is your chance. For $50 annually, ACF will build and maintain a Web presence for your restaurant. Submit up to three photos and 650 words of text, and we will build the page for you. You even have the option of changing your page with the seasons.

Text listings are available at no cost and include the following: chef’s name, restaurant name, address, and phone number. Simply complete the online form and submit to ACF.

The American Culinary Federation, Inc., a professional, not-for-profit organization for chefs and cooks, was founded in 1929 in New York City by three chefs organizations: the Société Culinaire Philanthropique, the Vatel Club, and the Chefs Association of America. The principal goal of the founding chefs remains true to the ACF today—to promote the professional image of American chefs worldwide through education among culinarians at all levels, from apprentices to the most accomplished Certified Master Chefs.
