Education Requirements and Work Experience:
No experience required.
- High School Diploma/GED
OR
- 75 Continuing Education Hours (CEH)
Mandatory Course Requirement:
- 30-hour course in Nutrition
- 30-hour course in Food Safety & Sanitation
Exam Requirement: Successful completion of written and performance exams administered through NOCTI.

The written and performance exam are administered through NOCTI. Exam information and study materials are available on the NOCTI webpage.
Application Process
Applicants must submit Individual CFPC™ Certification application with education documentation, NOCTI assessment results and application fee. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
High School Program Administrators submitting multiple students, please use the Group CFPC™ Certification application.
Recertification Information
CFPC™ Certification requires renewal every five years. For more information, visit the recertification page
Upgrade to a Higher Certification Level
Depending on education and experience, CFPC™ certificants may be eligible to upgrade to the Certified Pastry Culinarian® Certification (CPC®).
