The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, with the support of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC), is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships annually to students:
- Apprenticeship program - up to $1,500
- Certificate programs - up to $1,500
- Post-secondary degree programs - up to $2,500

Chef James Sanders (41) was a talented executive chef in New York City for several years. He was passionate about becoming a chef from a young age and he overcame many obstacles to excel in his career. His family would love to celebrate James’s life by giving young chefs the chance to live out their passion for culinary arts.
ACFEF Scholarship Applications
Scholarship deadlines are April 30 and October 31 of each year. Previously printed applications will be accepted for the April 30, 2018, deadline.

Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis to exemplary working culinary professionals who wish to update their skills through continuing education. Grants will be awarded based on availability of funds throughout the year.
