Specialized Certificate: Personal Chef
The American Culinary Federation (ACF) is the nation’s leader in offering educational resources, training, and certificate programs to enhance professional growth for all current and future chefs.
Earners of the Specialized Certificate for Personal Chefs have demonstrated they have reached a benchmark of knowledge required of personal chefs. This exam was written and reviewed by industry-recognized subject matter experts and covers safety and sanitation, culinary nutrition, food preparation and personal chef management concepts.
Once eligibility has been confirmed, the student will receive an email to purchase the exam from ACF’s Online Learning Center at www.acfchefs.org/OLC.
Candidate must supply documentation verifying completion of:
- Current ServSafe certificate or equivalent
- 8 hours in food safety and sanitation taken within the last five years
- Current ACF certification, any level
