2023 AAC Spouses/Significant Other Luncheon
Location: Restaurant R’evolution, 777 Bienville Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
Date: July 19, 2023, 11:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
$60 per person. Transportation will be provided. Pick up will be at the Marriott Warehouse Arts District Hotel. Leaving promptly at 11:15 a.m. Tickets are now on sale.
Culinary Educator Summit
In a supportive and collaborative environment, we’ll challenge both new and more “seasoned” culinary educators to expand their areas of expertise, while sharing their passion for teaching future chefs and cooks. Join us July 16, 2023, for a day of demonstrations, panel discussions and seminars, on topics such as curriculum design, culinary competitions, creating advisory boards, mental wellness, industry certifications, and technology in the kitchen classroom. This summit is not included in a convention registration and requires separate registration.
WACS Judging/Competition Seminar
ACF is hosting a WACS Judging/Competition seminar July 15, 2023, prior to convention. Participants will gain an understanding of not only judging criteria but also best practices in the competition kitchen and tactics that consistently reach the highest place at the podium. All Worldchefs certified judges are required to attend a competition seminar every five years, and attending a competition seminar is a mandatory requirement for aspiring Worldchefs certified judges. This seminar is not included in a convention registration and requires separate registration. 8 CEHs will be awarded upon completion of seminar.
