Culinary Educator Summit
In a supportive and collaborative environment, we’ll challenge both new and more “seasoned” culinary educators to expand their areas of expertise, while sharing their passion for teaching future chefs and cooks. Join us July 16, 2023, for a day of demonstrations, panel discussions and seminars, on topics such as curriculum design, culinary competitions, creating advisory boards, mental wellness, industry certifications, and technology in the kitchen classroom. This summit is not included in a convention registration and requires separate registration.
Competition Seminar
ACF is hosting a competition seminar July 15, 2023, prior to convention. Participants will gain an understanding of not only judging criteria but also best practices in the competition kitchen and tactics that consistently reach the highest place at the podium. All Worldchefs certified judges are required to attend a competition seminar every five years, and attending a competition seminar is a mandatory requirement for aspiring Worldchefs certified judges. This seminar is not included in a convention registration and requires separate registration.
Hotels
ACF has negotiated a discounted room rate for our attendees at the Courtyard New Orleans Warehouse Arts District, New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District Hotel and SpringHill Suites New Orleans Warehouse Arts District.
