ACF Culinary Youth Team USA 2020
Congratulations to the junior culinary team at Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, Kansas, on being named ACF Culinary Youth Team USA 2020.

With dedication, enthusiasm and hard-work, the youth team will proudly represent ACF, the United States and all young chefs in the country on their journey to the 2020 Internationale Kochkunstausstellung (IKA), or “culinary Olympics,” in Stuttgart, Germany.
Next steps for the youth team will be continuous practice sessions, complemented by extensive research of ideas, strategies and techniques, in preparation for the competition.

Torian Jenkins is a first year apprentice at Lake Quivira Country Club, working under Executive Chef Michael Lamping, CEC.
Melissa Dodd is a first year apprentice at Sheraton Overland Park Hotel at the Convention Center, working under Executive Chef David Stevens.
Elijah Luck, CSC, team captain, is a second year apprentice at Country Club of Leawood, working under Executive Chef Brian Jantz.
