Adobo Shiitake Mushrooms

Ingredients

1 t vegetable oil
2 T Fresh garlic, chopped
1/2 pound shiitake mushrooms
2 T rice-wine vinegar
2 T soy sauce
2 bay leaves
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1) Heat vegetable oil in saucepan; cook garlic until oil is flavored.

2) Add mushrooms; cook for only a few seconds.

3) Deglaze with rice vinegar. Add soy sauce and bay leaves. Let vinegar boil For 1 minute. Add a little water if too dry. Season with salt and pepper.
