Ingredient Search

The ingredient search box helps you quickly locate recipes containing specific ingredients.

To search, simply enter each ingredient that should be present in a recipe. Examples:

• chicken - finds recipes that contain chicken
• cheese chicken - finds recipes that contain cheese and chicken

Finding Multi-word Ingredients

To find recipes containing a multi-word ingredient, type quotation marks before and after the ingredient. Examples:

• "black olives" - finds recipes that contain black olives
• chicken "black olives" - finds recipes that contain chicken and black olives

(Searching for black olives without quotes will return recipes containing the words black and olives, which could include recipes containing black olives or black pepper and green olives.)

Excluding Ingredients

To prevent recipes containing a specific ingredient from being displayed in the search results, type a minus sign in front of that ingredient. Examples:

• cheese -chicken - finds recipes that contain cheese but not chicken
• chicken -"chicken broth" - finds recipes that contain chicken but not chicken broth
