The American Academy of Chefs (AAC), the honor society of the American Culinary Federation (ACF), was organized in 1952 by the ACF Board of Directors. Academy Fellows demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism in the organization, society and industry.
For the Academy to continue to fulfill its mission, it is imperative that we have an accessible and viable Academy office to administer scholarships, correspondence, website updates, newsletters and Academy regional and national events.
The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation (ACFEF), ACF’s educational arm, is a nonprofit and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service with a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Donations to the ACFEF are tax deductible—please consult your tax advisor for further guidance. Entities under the ACFEF include apprenticeship, programmatic accreditation, American Academy of Chefs, Chef & Child Foundation, Senior Chefs and ACF Culinary Team USA.
